In October 2024, over 35 professionally-driven women gathered at the STUNNING new coffee & hope shop — Altar Home: 1858 W. Chicago Ave — to have a collective discussion focused on Creating Space & Setting Boundaries.
This topic is, in some ways, very hard — and yet — very easy once you start practicing it.
The inspiration for this event came from a number of conversations with the women of Broad Shoulders sharing what is most relevant in terms of THEIR story and the curiosity on how WE as individuals were navigating these themes in our personal and professional lives.
As you know, Broad Shoulders is all about sharing UNIVERSAL experiences, so the alignment felt like it was in the right place.
Together, we will explored:
Situational awareness/ when to practice boundaries
Tactics, hacks, and what works
The awkward moment of establishing boundaries
The benefits of creating space and practicing boundaries
More structure = more space
